How to get license reinstated or at least restricted license for work?

Q. I got a DUI when I was 18 and never had my license after that. Im 26 now and don't know where to start at least try to get my license. Im not even sure if I was charged with DUI or if it was dropped because of a battery on an off duty officer. I was dumb, stupid and drunk back then,so im just finally getting my act together and need my license. Where do I start?
