Q. I live in California and I am on felony probation for 3 years?
When they say no drugs I know it means controlled substances but can they drug test you for smoking cigs? Like I'm 21 but just dnt wanna get in trouble for cigs

A. Generally, "controlled substances" are drugs that are flat-out illegal or can only be purchased with a doctor's prescription.
Tobacco not a controlled substance... but if you smoke a blunt or tobacco that is laced with a drug, you may test dirty... and the probation officer isn't going to believe that someone put something in you "cigs."
