How can I resolve a 9 year old DUI charge and a failure to appear in ca when I live out of state?

Q. I received a dui back in 2010 in hemet California . My bac was pretty high I believe .20. I appeared in court and was ordered community service ,1500 fine and 6 month traffic courses, 1 yr license suspension.I was attending a nursing college and working at the time but between school working and dui classes I ended up dropping ball. I couldn’t afford my classes and ended up not appearing for my follow up hearing . 9 years later I have 2 small children and am in AZ . I know I have a warrant and license suspended. I really want to get this resolved but I’m afraid of appearing in court as I can not do jail time and leave my children . My husband wants to go into law enforcement and I don’t want my backround to keep him from that career path . I’ve had no other issues with the law. How can I get this old case resolved?

A. Usually a lawyer can appear on your behalf if you hire them to go with all case basically the we call the want and get your terms transferred to Arizona so that you can complete your obligations and then you can contact the him and do what is called the termination of action which will allow you to get your license in Arizona
